The quilt collection is very near and dear to my heart. To me, a newfoundland crazy quilt represents a test of time and the resilience of our province. They are made to keep us warm in a cold Newfoundland climate and to comfort us when we need it. The intricate herringbone stitching demonstrates the love that was put into each one. My collection takes the quilt and wraps it around meaningful Newfoundland items, such as boats, homesteads and friends, to portray the resilience of our people.
